Pre-
and Post-Cruise
Vacation Conditions and Restrictions.
All vacation
packages must be booked at least two weeks prior to sailing (35 days for Alaska
CruiseTours) and are only offered immediately preceding or following your
cruise. Vacation packages may not be available or may be withdrawn for certain
sailings or from certain cities, but we will attempt to accommodate those
guests under deposit or final payment. Only one pre- or post-cruise package
may be booked per cruise booking from certain cities. Only one Orlando vacation
package may be booked per cruise booking. Any deviations and upgrades for
Carnival vacation packages must be done through your travel agent or directly
with the hotel or car rental company
-Hotel and car rental companies may be substituted without prior
notice.
-Unused tour vouchers are non refundable, Cancellations and
no-shows may be subject to a penalty,
-Only individual
guests in the same stateroom may share a pre- or post-cruise package.
-Compact cars are provided for single or double vacation packages.
Intermediate cars are provided for triple, quad and quint vacation
packages. Minimum age requirement for drivers purchasing a package
with a car is 21 years old (an additional surcharge for drivers
under 25 is payable to the rental car company). Credit card or
deposit required. Primary driver must have a credit card in his/her
name. Rental charges are based on a 24-hour period and include
unlimited mileage. Guests pay for any additional time. Port
Canaveral guests from overnight cities that purchase an Orlando
post-cruise package must pick up their rental car prior to the
initial overnight stay (FANTASY guests only).
-Vacation packages do not include bellman (except for Alaska) or
chambermaid gratuities, resort fees, energy surcharges, parking,
car rental sales tax, fuel, oil, collision damage waiver or any
additional car surcharges. Bellman gratuities for groups of 10 or
more rooms must be paid directly to the hotel.
Fly Aweigh guests from overnight cities booking a pre-cruise
vacation package forfeit the complimentary hotel accommodations and
transfers,
At Carnival, we do everything possible to arrange the most
convenient and comfortable flights for all our guests. But if you
would like us to customize your flight arrangement, just let us
know. If you want to spend a few days before or after your cruise
in the city of your ship's departure, we car) adjust the date of
your flight. If you prefer a specific airline, we'd be only too
happy to satisfy your request, whenever possible. And we can even
make arrangements for you to upgrade to First Class. The
nonrefundable charge for this service is $35 per guest ($50 per
guest for Alaska cruises), subject to change, plus any additional
airline charges. The service is available for all guests under
deposit until 45 days prior to sailing (60 days for Alaska
cruises). Guests may use our scheduled transfer service between the
airport and pier only on arrival and departure cruise dates.

Transfer Services.
Guests who do not purchase Carnival's Fly Aweigh program have the
option of purchasing airport/p~er one-way or round-trip transfers
for the day of embarkation and debarkation. This service is only
available during normal operating hours. Guests who do not purchase
Carnival's Fly Aweigh program and do not purchase transfers are
responsible for all transportation to and from the pier. Advance
reservations are required 14 days prior to sailing. Please contact
your travel agent for details.
Fly Away. Conditions and Restrictions.
-Carnival reserves the right to add or withdraw a Fly Away city at
any time but will attempt to accommodate those guests under deposit
or final payment Fly Aweigh cities may not be available on some
departures due to airline availability or scheduling. Some cities
are only offered on a seasonal basis. Group space is limited from
certain cities.
- Carnival cannot guarantee that guests traveling with other guests
will be on the same airline or routing.
- For bookings made within 7 days of sailing, air is on a request
basis and is not guaranteed. Air may also be on request for other
sailings due to availability and restrictions.
- Due to limited availability for peak travel dates, nonprime air
schedules, charters and overnights may be assigned. For individual
requirements, have your travel agent contact our Custom Fly Aweigh
Services .
- Flights may require a stop, change(s) of plane and/or layovers. Air
carriers and routings are assigned at Carnival's discretion and are
subject to change without notice. Schedules may require overnight
travel to/from the port city. Service may be jet, commuter or
charter flights.
- Flights may arrive/depart Miami or Ft. Lauderdale airports for
Miami sailings, any mid-Florida airport for Port Canaveral or Tampa
sailings Seattle airport for Vancouver sail ling and Hobby or
Intercontinental airports in Houston for Galveston sailings.
- Tickets are issued at the lowest applicable coach fare available
and all restrictions apply. Cancellation or change penalties will I
am passed on to the guest Airline tickets are refundable to
Carnival only, if applicable. Travel is only valid round-trip
to/from the guests Fly Aweigh city. Guests must use the Fly Aweigh
program for the purpose of taking a Carnival cruise.
- Fly Aweigh guests must check all documentation prior to sailing to
ensure tickets correspond with the correct ship and sailing date.
Guests or travel agents should request advance seat assignments and
boarding passes directly with the ticketed air carrier(s) an after
airline tickets have been received. Guests should reconfirm flight
numbers and times within 48 hours of departure directly with the
assigned canner
- Carnival is not responsible for schedule changes subsequent to the
issuance of air documents. Schedules and itinerary information are
available approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to departure,
- Carnival provides complimentary accommodations from applicable
cities to Miami, Orlando and Tampa on a double-, triple- or
quad-occupancy basis.
- Transfers are provided only for guests purchasing Carnival's FIy
Aweigh program, except between Seward and Anchorage, and between
Ensenada and San Diego or Los Angeles airports, where all guests
receive complimentary motor coach transfers.
Transfers for cruise-only guests may be purchased through Carnival
Reservations at least 14 days prior to sailing.
- Private single-occupancy hotel rooms are provided only for guests
purchasing single-occupancy cruise staterooms. A guest in a shared
stateroom receiving complimentary accommodations will be assigned a
companion of the same gender to share a double room at the hotel, A
limited number of rooms are available for guests wishing to upgrade
to a private hotel room, There is an additional charge of $ 100 for
Miami sailings and $75 for Tampa and Orlando sailings.
- Cities designated for overnight hotel stays are subject to change
and may be withdrawn without prior notice. Carnival is not
responsible for any arrangements, inconveniences or costs incurred
due to such changes.
- Day room accommodations are only applicable for guests with flights
arriving prior to 9:00 am. for Miami and Tampa sailings and prior
to 8:00 a.m. for Port Canaveral sailings from the cities shown.
Transfers to the hotel and subsequently to the pier are included.
Port Canaveral guests use the hotel's shuttle to the hotel. Tampa
hotel is inside the port.
- All original airline tickets must be returned to Carnival Cruise
Lines prior to airplane ticket being issued, In the event that a
replacement airline ticket is issued and the original airline
ticket is not returned, Carnival will I file a Lost Ticket
Application with the respective airline. The airline’s
applicable lost ticket application fee will I apply, per ticket .
Any outstanding refund will be reduced by this fee.
Additional Notes for Alaska.
• Due to airline schedules and/or limited availability , an
overnight stay in Seattle, Vancouver or Anchorage may be required.
The cost of the overnight hotel package is the responsibility of
the guest Any additional costs incurred (including food, lodging
and transfers) are the sole responsibility of the guest
• Scheduled air transportation directly into or out of
Vancouver, B.C., is limited; therefore, many Fly Aweigh guests may
be flown into or out of Seattle. Complimentary motor coach service
between the Seattle airport and the pier in Vancouver
(3-hourtransfer) will be provided.
• Canada imposes a user fee on guests departing from
Vancouver International Airport which is collected at check-in. The
fee is $10CDN for destinations in North America (subject to
change).
• For those guests wishing to depart from other cities,
travel arrangement will be the sole responsibility of the guest For
those guests not wishing to take advantage of Carnival's Fly Aweigh
program, please allow adequate time for transfers between the
airport and the pier, customs inspections and airport security
checks.
• Guests with pre- or post-CruiseTour Packages may be flown
into or out of Fairbanks or Anchorage at Carnival's discretion,
dependent upon air availability.
• Any changes to bookings within 35 days of the sailing are
on a request basis only and are not guaranteed, Additional air
costs may apply for bookings made less than 35 days prior to
sailing, if space is available.
Liability and Relation with Airlines.
If, due to any cause beyond our control, we are unable to arrange
for air travel (for example, because of capacity controls placed
upon us by airlines due to the types of fares under which we book)
or the air travel we arrange is unavailable or otherwise fails to
materialize, our liability will be limited to refunding the air
add-on amount paid to us. We assume no liability for any acts or
emissions of any airline, including, without limitation, those
involving cancellation of flights, schedule changes, rerouting,
damage to or delay or loss of baggage, flight delays, equipment
failures, accidents, pilot or other staff shortages, overbooking or
computer errors. The liabilities and obligations of an airline to
you, and your rights as an airline passenger, are subject to any
and all terms and conditions of the airline’s ticket and
tariffs.
Things to know before you go.
Important Notice
Please be advised that federal law prohibits travel between two
contiguous U.S. ports. Any guest who insists on departing in this
situation accepts responsibility for any resulting penalties (e.g.,
you cannot board the ship in New Orleans and debark in Tampa).

Embarkation
Embarkation begins as following Miami, Galveston and Tampa- I :00
p.m.; Port Canaveral, New Orleans, and Los Angeles - 1:30 p.m.; San
Juan - 2:30 p.m.; Vancouver - 12:30 pm; Seward (Egan Center in
Anchorage) - 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 am only: Honolulu - 1:00 p.m.;
Ensenada - 6:00 pm., complimentary motion coach
Transportation is provided from the San Diego and Los Angeles
airports, with
embarkation aboard ship; San Diego (Panama Canal) departure - 1:30
p.m. You must
check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
Debarkation
To allow sufficient time for Customs clearance, we recommend
scheduling outbound air flights no earlier than I :00 pm., except
for the following: Vancouver - Noon (Seattle departure - 100 pm.);
Anchorage - 12:45 p.m.; Honolulu - Noon, Ensenada - 2:00 pm for San
Diego airport, 3:30 p.m. for Los Angeles airport.
Deposit and Payment The following deposit is required in order to
secure confirmed accommodations: 3, 4 and 5 Day Cruises - $100 per
guest balance payable no later than 60 days prior to departure
date; 7 and 8 Day Cruises - $250 per guest, balance payable no
later than 70 days prior to departure date; Alaska, CruiseTours and
10 day or longer cruises - $300 per guest, balance payable no later
than 75 days prior to departure date. Carnival accepts American
Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover Card for all cruise
payments. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for
groups; please consult any travel agent or Carnival for the terms
that apply to your specific group.

Name changes
or additions will be allowed at Carnival's discretion and are subject to cancellation
charges and rate increases. Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior
to departure without risk of automatic cancellation. No refunds will be made
in the event of "no shows” or interruption or cancellation by the guest
after the start of the cruise. We recommend the purchase of trip cancellation
insurance.
Price Guarantee
Carnival reserves
the right to increase published rates and air fare supplements without prior
notice. However fully paid or deposited guests will be protected, except for
fuel surcharges, government taxes, other surcharges and changes to deposit,
payment and cancellation terms/conditions, which are subject to change without
notice.
Change In Itinerary
When practical,
Carnival will promptly notify guests of a pre-cruise itinerary change through
their travel agents or directly in the case of direct bookings. Carnival will
offer such guests an opportunity to cancel their cruise without penalty within
24 hours. No additional compensation for the itinerary change will be offered
at a later time If an itinerary change occurs while a ship is at sea or when
notice prior to sailing is not feasible, Carnival shall attempt to substitute
an alternative port. No compensation shall be provided to passengers when
an alternative port is offered. If an alternative port is not provided, guests
shall be provided a shipboard credit of $20 per person. The Vacation Guarantee
shall not be affected by this policy.

documents. Please
read it carefully, as it contains a wealth of information about
your Carnival cruise.
Cruise Rates
Government taxes add fees, taxes on airline transportation, air
transportation, shore excursions, medical services, items of a
personal nature - such as ban beverages, gift shop purchases,
beauty salon/barber shop and massage services, gambling and
service/porterage gratuities - am not included in the cruise rate
The amount of the taxes and charges specified herein are subject to
change. Carnival reserves the right to pass through to the guests
any increases, which become effective after the printing of this
brochure.
Sail & Sign.
For your convenience, charges for most of your onboard purchases am
made to your Sail & Sign account A required application form
will be included with your documents. Carnival accepts American
Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and cash for deposit on
your account. (A minimum deposit will be required for cash
accounts: 2 to 4 day Cruises,
$ 100; 5 to 8 Day Cruises, $200; 9 Day or longer Cruises, $350)
Service Charges
A $ 100 service
charge will be assessed for issuing prepaid airline tickets. A $50 service
charge will be assessed within 60 days of departure for the following: a)
any cruise or vacation package changes (per guest, per change), except for
stateroom upgrades or the addition of services; b) any change from Fly Aweigh
to Cruise-Only status and changes of Fly Aweigh cities (per guest per change);
and c) research and/or providing copies of airline tickets or other documentation
subsequent to your cruise (per request, payable in advance).
Liquor Policy
We are sorry but guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic
beverages of my kind on board the ship for consumption. Alcoholic
beverages purchased in the ship's gift shops or in foreign ports
will be retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage. However,
if you will be celebrating a special occasion while on board, fine
wine or champagne may be brought on board during embarkation at the
beginning of the cruise only. A $ 10 per bottle corkage fee will be
charged should guests wish to consume this wine in the dining mom.
You may also purchase mixed drinks and other beverages from any of
the ship's bars and lounges,
Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the
age of 21
. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to
anyone,
Tipping
How much you
tip is a personal matter and completely up to you. However we do have many
guests who ask for guidelines in regard to what is appropriate We suggest
the following gratuities: Room Steward - $3.50 per guest, per day; Dining
Room Team Service - $5.50 per guest, per day, Alternative Dining Serves -
$0.75 per guest, per day. Tipping your Maitre d' is at your discretion, based
upon the service you received. Gratuities are customarily given the last evening
of the cruise, Other service personnel, such as bar and mom service staff,
may be tipped as service is rendered. For your convenience on board the ship,
a 15% gratuity is automatically included on all beverage tabs. Please note
that you now prepay gratuities for all service personnel for a total of $9.75
per guest, per day. They are charged to your account at the end of the cruise
and can be adjusted by you, up or down at your discretion. For 2 Day Cruise-To-Nowhere,
gratuities of $20 per guest must be prepaid .
For your convenience, graduates on certain ships are automatically
added to your Sail & Sign card Naturally, guests can adjust or
remove gratuities at their discretion.
Shore Tours
Optional share tours arm available for purchase aboard the ship,

Dining Room Reservations
Dining preferences (time, companions) may be requested by your
travel agent at the time of booking. By popular request all our
Dining Rooms are now Smoke-Free (smoking is permitted in designated
areas and in your stateroom). No requests are guaranteed. Your
table assignment will be confirmed at embarkation. Dining times are

- We have four sittings for dinner on all ships except on
Spirit-class Ship (CARNIVAL SPIRIT, CARNIVAL PRIDE,
CARNIVALLEGEND), where we have two ( main-6:00, late-8:15).
Special Diets
Special diet requirements may be requested by your travel agent at
least two weeks prior to sailing You should discuss the method of
preparation of menu items with your waiter or headwaiter. Them may
be limitations in our ability to accommodate special orders kosher
meals are not available
Passport Data
U.S. Immigration determines the correct document' which guests must
have in their possession in order to travel. Proper travel
documentation is required through the cruise and is the
responsibility of the guest. Any guest traveling without proper
documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund
of cruise fare will be issued, Documents must be presented at time
of embarkation. All non-U.S. citizens must surrender their
Passports and/or green cards and these documents will be returned
at immigration upon arrival back into the US. United States and
Canadian guests need proof of citizenship (Passport, Birth
Certificate or copy of Birth Certificate with passed seal) and
photo I.D. Resident Aliens need both a Passport and an Alien
Resident Card Aliens need a valid Passport and a valid, unexpired
U.S. Multiple Re-Entry Visa. Aliens eligible to apply for admission
under the Visa Waiver Pilot Program must have a valid, unexpired
Passport Resident Aliens and Aliens must contact the appropriate
consulate, U.S. Embassy or U.S. Immigration office to inquire about
necessary travel documentation.
